“No-exam” is marketing shorthand for several product and underwriting designs. The trade-offs matter as much as the convenience.
Common categories (educational)
- Accelerated underwriting — may waive exam if rules are met; can still require labs
- Simplified issue — health questions, often no exam; underwriting is product-specific
- Guaranteed issue — limited or no health questions; typically higher cost and graded benefits
Trade-offs to understand
Exam-light paths can mean different pricing, benefit structures, or coverage amounts. Skipping an exam is not the same as skipping underwriting review of data and disclosures.
How Life Approved approaches this
We educate first — so you can compare process realities, not slogans. No promised approvals or “best rates.” Call 800.365.TERM (800-365-8376).
Prefer to talk it through?
Private educational consultation. No quote engine. No promised outcomes.
Informational only. Coverage decisions are made in underwriting — not by a quote engine. Carriers evaluate data, not intentions. Nothing here promises approval, rates, or product availability. Gregory M. Sloan, CLU®, ChFC® · NPN 2145633 · Licensed Insurance Representative.
